Yay! First snow of the season for you too? I love that the snowman is the same height as his trusty friend.

Same snow – we’re neighbors! I live in Frederick, and we got about 3 inches. We also cut down our Christmas tree yesterday, which was a great start to the Christmas season.

Delightful! Where’d you go for the tree? The spouse and I are in search of a place to chop our own.

South Mountain Plantation in Boonsboro. They have tons of trees, including Fraser Firs (my favorite) but a long trek if you’re in DC. You should be able to find a Christmas tree farm closer, though it is a nice drive (as long as you have room IN your car for the tree, since trees on top and highways don’t mix) Happy Hunting!
